Windows automatically organizes files by their modified date in the Downloads folder. (Even when I select date created, it just reorganizes in groups.)
When I download using Motrix, the downloads have their actual modified time. And that makes Windows think that I donwloaded that file a long time ago.

Just a toggle in preferences that says, "Use current time as modified time when downloading a file"

Describe alternatives you've considered
I tried sorting by "Date Created" but it didn't resolve the issue. There's probably a way to disable or reorganize groups by "Date Created" but even if there is, I don't think any user should be doing that just to have their Downloads folder organized properly.
